This home and office was built economically with experimental design ideas by architect and builder, Lynnsay and Marco Prunotto. It is the “Headquarters” of Lume Projects. Playing with light, space and materials in their natural state, the building recedes into the site topography and embraces a pool, which has been designed to blend with the natural landscape.

The house was organised on a single level to allow for aging-in-place, with floor-to-ceiling doors and windows to connect the open plan living area with the outdoors, but it also included a quiet, cool, inward focusing retreat space. It is thermally comfortable, efficient to run and sustainably built. It is a pleasure to live and work in.
